About them

We believe the best families are built with love, intention, and the kindness of others. Over the past eight years, we've built a beautiful life together—filled with family, lifelong friendships, travel, laughter, and a home we love. Now we're ready for the chapter we've dreamed about most: becoming dads. We hope to find a surrogate who wants to be part of this incredible journey, and we promise to approach it with gratitude, honesty, and respect every step of the way.

Relationship status

Married

We've been together for eight years and have been married for the past three. We actually met on a dating app, and one of our favorite stories from the very beginning of our relationship still makes us laugh.

Less than a week after the first date, someone broke into Angelo's apartment. His roommate was out of town, and he was understandably nervous about staying there alone. He texted to ask if I could spend the night and was very clear that this wasn't some sort of "move." He genuinely just didn't want to be by himself after what had happened.

Of course, I wanted to be there for him, but there was one problem: I was sick and was getting up to use the bathroom almost every hour. I remember thinking I had to choose between giving this new guy "the ick" or being there for someone who needed support. I'm so glad I chose the latter! Looking back, it's a funny story, but it also says a lot about how our relationship started with kindness, trust, and showing up for each other when it mattered. And fortunately, he didn't even notice me using the bathroom that night.

Eight years later, those are still the values that define our relationship, and we're incredibly excited to begin the next chapter of growing our family.

Financial preparedness

We have planned and saved for this journey and are financially prepared for all the expenses involved. We understand the importance of ensuring our surrogate is fully supported throughout the process, and we're committed to covering all agreed-upon costs through our agency and legal agreements. We want our surrogate to feel secure and able to focus on having a healthy, positive pregnancy without financial stress.

Embryos
Yes.

We currently have six genetically tested embryos ready for transfer—three created with each of us as the genetic parent. We also have a few additional embryos that haven't been genetically tested yet. If needed, they could be tested in the future, though we're hopeful the six tested embryos will be all we need.

What they're looking for
Their hopes and requirements for a surrogate
Requirements

We are looking for a surrogate who meets our clinic's medical and psychological screening requirements. Beyond that, we don't have additional specific medical criteria and trust our clinic's recommendations to ensure a safe and healthy journey for everyone involved.

The relationship we hope to build

We hope to find someone who is kind, compassionate, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping another family grow.

Most importantly, we're looking for a surrogate who feels like the right match for everyone involved—someone with whom we can build a trusting, supportive, and positive relationship throughout this incredible journey.

Vaccination information

All our beliefs follow mainstream science / medical advice. We would default to doctor recommendations.

Views on termination

We believe these decisions are deeply personal and should be guided by the best available medical advice. Our hope would always be to continue the pregnancy, and we would not want to pursue a termination unless there were serious medical concerns that placed the surrogate's health or life at significant risk. If an unexpected complication were to arise, we would carefully consider the recommendations of the treating physicians and approach the situation with compassion, open communication, and respect for everyone involved. We believe it's important to have these conversations upfront so that everyone is aligned before beginning the journey.

Fun facts about me

I actually learned English by watching Friends. I also feel like my personality changes depending on the language I'm speaking—I'm definitely more expressive and passionate in Portuguese!

I'm fascinated by severe weather and could watch documentaries about tornadoes and storms for hours. One day, I'd love to go on a tornado chase (from a safe distance, of course!).

I'm not very good at drawing, but I'm good at arts and crafts, especially with scissors.

And while I could happily spend an entire day at the beach or in the ocean, lakes make me strangely nervous.

Interests and hobbies

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, swimming, and traveling. I've had the opportunity to visit over 30 countries, and one of my favorite parts of traveling is learning about different cultures, traditions, and local ways of life. In the winter, you'll usually find me skiing, while in the summer I love relaxing at the beach and enjoying the outdoors.

What friends say
“

My friends would probably describe me as organized, proactive, and someone who always has a plan. I'm naturally the type to take charge when needed, but I also know when to step back and let others lead. I'm sarcastic and have a good sense of humor, but I'm also very honest—I believe in telling the truth, even when it's not the easiest thing to hear. I'd rather be the friend who gives genuine advice than one who simply tells people what they want to hear. Family is incredibly important to me, and I value loyalty, authenticity, and meaningful connections. As a Cancer, I've always felt a strong connection to my family and to the water, which is probably why I feel most at home near the ocean.

Fun facts about me

-I was lucky to grow up with a dad who was a pilot, which allowed me to develop a love of travel at a young age. I've now visited around 50 countries and even managed to fill an entire passport with stamps!

-I have a surprisingly high tolerance for spicy food—but almost no tolerance for heat! Buffalo Wild Wings is always a fun challenge because I'll happily order the spiciest wings, but you'll still find me complaining if it's a hot summer day.

-I have a family lemon bar recipe that's become a bit of a tradition. Back in school, classmates would often ask me to make a batch for birthdays and other special occasions.

-Here's a funny one: I used to have a dog named Jackson, and my current dog is named Michael. It took me years to realize I'd accidentally named my dogs "Michael Jackson!"

Interests and hobbies

I love staying active and spending time outdoors. Running and working out are a big part of my routine, and I enjoy setting fitness goals and challenging myself. I also love traveling and experiencing new cultures, whether that's trying local food, visiting historical sites, or exploring a new city with my husband.

When I'm at home, I enjoy gardening and tackling home improvement projects. Since moving into our home I've become a regular at Home Depot!

What friends say
“

I think my friends would describe me as dependable and thoughtful. I'm someone people know they can count on, whether they need help, advice, or just someone to listen. I never forget to send a happy birthday text to my friends and family.

They'd also probably say I'm someone who loves bringing people together. I enjoy hosting gatherings, whether it's putting together a murder mystery dinner, organizing a Survivor-inspired game night, or planning other activities that get everyone involved. I'm always willing to put in the extra effort to make sure the people I care about have a fun and memorable time.

Above all, I think my friends would say I'm kind, easy to get along with, and someone who values family, friendships, and creating meaningful experiences with the people I care about.
