The first 5 years of our relationship has been a speed run through some life changing events. Marriage, parent death, cancer, car accident, stroke, loss of fertility. All we can do is keep moving forward and the next step in that path is starting our family. We began that expansion with our pup Velvet, who is a ball of energy. She is the best cuddler and would make a great big sister.

My husband and I used to have season passes to Disney and we would go during the week for a day or two at a time. I have a large boardgame collection and my husband and I play the ones that are easy for me to understand. I really enjoy watching musicals in any form, whether in person or a pro shot. I try to be really positive about life and want to move forward from the last 2 years. Even though I have had a stroke, I am mobile, only relying on a cane to aid my walking. Through intense work with speech therapists, my speech is only slightly affected.
I really enjoy sewing and reading. I try to be active and try not to let my cane slow me down too much. My husband and I like to watch movies from the 70's and 80's. We also really enjoy Doctor Who. I got him into that. Before the car accident I decorated cakes and cookies at my family's bakery. I am not able to do that at a good capacity anymore but still try.
“”That family is a huge priority to me and my husband. We are always there to try and help when our families need it. We live within 20 minutes of my parents and 5 minutes from his mom. I have 3 younger brothers that all live close by with their wives/fiancés. My husband has an older brother close by and niece. I am introverted but not as much as I was before the accident. I lost a lot of my filter after the stroke.
