we are Thorsten and René, a couple from Germany for 14 years and married for 5 years now. As an early childhood educator and a nurse, we earn our living by caring for and supporting other people. Now, we are the ones who need support from others that can help us. Unfortunately, we cannot get pregnant ourselves...we have tried...but...we think we should get some help.

We have planned our journey many years. We have had calls with other couples that already have had a journey in US or Canada and we are prepared to go on with our journey.
We have ten embryos ready for transfer.
We work with Anova in Toronto and their requirements for a surrogate are:
BMI < or = 35
at least one prior baby
no more than three caesarean sections or agrees to planned caesarian delivery
no history of PID
no addictions (smoking, drugs, alcohol)
normal sonohysterogram
not older than 43 years of age
We would love to meet a person that loves to laugh and enjoys live. Even a good (and somtimes dark) sense of humor would be great since we both enjoy this kind of jokes.
We would love to have regular contact by Email or for example WhatsApp, so we could do video calls aswell.
We would be happy if the future surrogate has received the routine vaccinations recommended in her region. Other than that, we do not have any specific preferences regarding to vaccinations, as long as it is save for both of them, her and the unborn baby, during pregnancy.
Termination of pregnancy is a very difficult and sensitive topic. We believe that it is not a decision that should be made by one person alone during this journey, but rather one that should be discussed together, with the guidance and advice of qualfierd medical professionals. If the surrogate's health or life is at risk, we would fully support ending the pregnancy. Likewise, if it turns out that the baby would not be viable or would be unable to survive, we would also support that decision.

I used to be part of a musical theatre group, when I was younger and we performed for example "Spring Awakening" or "Dance of the Vampires".
In addition to being part of a musical thearte group, I took ballroom and Latin dance lessons for seven years and still love to dance today, although I don't do it often in public.
Another funfact is that I am a bit nerdy and enjoy watching animes or playing pen and paper with my husband and our friends.
I enjoy reading fantasy and thriller books, especially when the story is so griping that it's impossible to put the book away. Furthermore I prefer rock music and some techno or classic musicals (yeah, I know, it´s cliché) or just being outside, listening to sounds of nature. My newest hobby is spending time with our young dogs, Ylva and Skadi, our six-month-old husky-labrador mixes. I also like going to the gym or just hanging out with friends and have a good time, for example playing pen and paper adventures or visiting medieval markets.
Besides of medieval period I am interested in nothern mythologie and viking mythologie.

A funfact is actually that many people first see me as serious and intimidating. In reality, I am a very palyful free spirit who always tries to see the good in people.
As for my hobbies, I enjoy being creative, which includes painting, drawing, carving and other artistic activities. I am interested in herbs and their uses, and I enjoy spending time in nature.
I also enjoy medieval fairs and find the medieval period fascinating in general.
I like games, especially when I can play them with friends.
And I love books, particularly fantasy stories, fairy tales and psychological literature.
