About them

We have the dream of having a child together, and we hope to fulfill this dream soon thanks to Oak Surrogacy. We met in 2011, and it was love at first sight. Fifteen years later, we are still together and excited to expand our family (along with our two kittens) with a little baby at home.

We are a doctor and a nurse from Barcelona (Spain), and we enjoy a wide variety of activities. We like to balance outdoor activites with spending time at home. On the one hand, we enjoy going for walks, eating out, going on short trips and spending time at the beach. On the other hand, we also love relaxing at home and enjoying our hobbies such as playing boardgames or videogames and watching movies. We really enjoy sharing these moments with our family and friends and we will be very happy to raise our child in a cheerfull and loving enviorement.

Relationship status

Married

We met fifteen years ago, when we were still in high school. On our first date we shared our first kiss, and on the second we started dating. We knew from a young age that this love was for life. In 2016 we moved in together in Barcelona, and in 2023 we said “I do” in front of our family and friends at our dream wedding. Now, we are ready to begin the adventure of parenthood together.

Financial preparedness

We would like our surrogate to be willing to travel to San Diego (California) for the embryo implantation, since we started the process there. All expenses will be covered by us.

Our financial situation is good and we plan to cover the expenses related to the pregnancy. She can rest assured, she will be supported by us.

Embryos
Yes.

We already have 4 male embryos frozen in San Diego (California).

What they're looking for
Their hopes and requirements for a surrogate
Requirements

We would prefer the surrogate to be under 35 years old, but this is not a strict requirement — we are open to any age. It is important that she does not have any serious health conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, or coagulation disorders.

The relationship we hope to build

We are open to any type of relationship with the surrogate. Ideally, we would like to have a friendship. She is doing enormous for us, and we would like her to know that, thanks to her, our lives are being changed for the better.

We want to be available for her, to stay in touch by messaging (about the process and if she wishes, about other things as well so we can get to know each other better). We are opened to use whatsapp, email, video calls, etc.

Her family situation it's not relevant to us.

Vaccination information

We would prefer the surrogate to be up to date with her routine childhood vaccinations, such as Hepatitis B, measles–mumps–rubella (MMR), varicella, and Tdap, in order to help prevent infections in the baby.

Views on termination

Our thoughts regarding termination are that we would prefer to carry it out before the baby is born with any developmental issues.

We would love our son or daughter no matter what, but we want to do everything possible to ensure they have the healthiest life possible.

Fun facts about me

I’ve always wanted to study Japanese since I was little, but I had never taken the step—either because of lack of time or because I was afraid it would be too difficult.

But this year I finally took the leap and started the beginner level of Japanese—and I’m doing better than I expected! I hope I can keep learning a lot from now on.

Interests and hobbies

In my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy (I’m currently hooked on Brandon Sanderson’s books) as well as LGBTQ+ romance novels (I am a fan of the Heated Rivalry books).

I’m also a big fan of video games (especially Pokémon games), comic books (especially manga/anime from Japan like One Piece, Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen) doing the occasional TV series marathon.

I love visiting my parents home at my original hometown for a warm family dinner.

With my friends, I love doing escape rooms, especially horror-themed ones. I also go to the gym regularly to stay active.

What friends say
“

I think my friends would describe me as a loyal person who knows how to be there to support them during difficult times.

They would also say I have a calm aura, but at the same time I really enjoy laughing and having a good time. Sometimes I can be a bit shy or a little rigid, but I also show a lot of empathy toward others.

Fun facts about me

As an unusual skill, I would say that I have quite a vivid imagination. Some time ago, I really enjoyed writing fantasy short stories. I loved the process of creating a world from scratch. However, I don’t really do it anymore because I found it hard to balance with my other hobbies, and sometimes it became mentally exhausting.

As for a funny anecdote, once, I took part in a race organized for healthcare staff from several hospitals in Barcelona. In the race, you were given a stopwatch and had to complete three laps of a circuit that included a section through a park and another inside a stadium.

I arrived late because I was convinced the race started at 8:30 a.m. (it actually started at 8:15, who even decides to start a race at 8:15?). When I got there, I saw people running wearing shirts in different colors, so I assumed they were part of another activity. It wasn’t until I got closer that I realized each hospital had a different color.

They offered to let me participate anyway, which I accepted, and they started my stopwatch. By the time everyone else had finished, I was just beginning my final lap. Everyone was watching me (I think they assumed I hadn’t arrived late and that I was just really struggling with the race). Then several members of the staff started cheering me on and even ran alongside me. All the runners began encouraging me, and I nearly died of embarrassment during that last lap with the entire stadium focused on me.

Interests and hobbies

I have a variety of hobbies. On the one hand, I really enjoy reading, especially fantasy and science fiction. Some of my favorites include The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which I grew up with, as well as various books by Brandon Sanderson.

I also enjoy reading American comics, particularly from Marvel, along with some independent titles. In addition, I’ve read some manga that left a strong impression on me, such as Naruto, which I believe helped me become the resilient person I am today.

Other hobbies of mine include running, playing video games (especially rpgs and farm sims), and board games. I also really enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching TV shows, and going to the movies.

What friends say
“

My friends usually describe me as a social person (even though I don’t really see myself that way, since I’m quite shy around people I don’t know—although I do make an effort to connect with others). They would probably say that I’m a funny friend to be around, someone with who you can have a great time and share a lot of laughs with, but also someone you can count on when you need support.

I try to be available whenever someone close to me is going through something and needs to talk or get support. Among my friends, I’ve been told that I’m good at being empathetic and that I’m reliable.
