About them

Every journey begins with a simple "hello." So... hello from sunny Valencia, Spain! 👋

We're Jesús and David.

Most evenings, you'll find us running through the Turia Gardens, walking by the Mediterranean, talking about life, and dreaming about the day we hear little footsteps in our home.

We've been together for 14 years and married for 4. Along this journey, we were lucky enough to meet an incredible surrogate and her wife. Although our embryo transfers weren't successful, they gave us something we'll always carry with us: the certainty that surrogacy is about so much more than having a baby. It's about trust, kindness, and genuine human connection.

Today, our embryos are ready, our hearts are open, and we're excited to begin this journey again.

We're not just hoping to find a surrogate—we're hoping to meet an extraordinary woman who, if it feels right for everyone, becomes a cherished part of our family's story for many years to come.

If our story speaks to you, we'd truly love to hear from you. ❤️

Relationship status

Married

We've been together for 14 years and married for 4, and after all this time, we're still each other's favorite person to come home to.

Our home is in Valencia, on Spain's Mediterranean coast, where life is all about sunshine, good food, long walks, and spending time with the people you love. That's the life we hope to share with our future child.

One of the things we love most is traveling. Every new place has taught us something, and every journey has made us more curious about the world and the people in it. We dream of one day seeing those places again through our child's eyes—sharing different cultures, making memories together, and showing them how beautiful and diverse the world can be.

If you asked our friends to describe us, they'd probably say we're kind, easygoing, and happiest when we're surrounded by family and friends. We can't wait to welcome a little one into that love.

Financial preparedness

After four years on this journey, we know the financial commitment that surrogacy involves. We've had plenty of time to prepare, and we're ready for everything this journey may require.

Our biggest priority is that our surrogate never has to worry about financial matters. We want you to feel supported, comfortable, and cared for from the very beginning.

Embryos
Yes.

Thanks to our egg donor, we were incredibly lucky to end up with more than 30 embryos. When our doctor gave us the news, he smiled and said, "Well... you could almost start your own soccer team!" It definitely made us laugh after such a long road.

Of course, our dream isn't to have a soccer team—just the chance to become dads. Knowing we have healthy embryos and all of them are PGT tested, gives us hope and lets us focus on finding the woman who is willing to share this journey with us.

Their hopes and requirements for a surrogate
Requirements

We don't have any special requirements on our side.

For us, what's most important is finding someone who sees this journey the way we do. As two people from Spain, relationships mean a lot to us. We love getting to know people, sharing life's important moments, and building real connections.

We hope this isn't just a nine-month journey. We'd love to build a relationship based on trust, honesty, and kindness—one that, if everyone feels comfortable, can last long after our baby is born.

The relationship we hope to build

We would love to meet someone warm, kind, and easy to talk to—someone who feels comfortable being open with us and who wants this journey to feel natural and honest.

Canada has a very special place in our hearts. One of us lived for a few months in Toronto and the other in Vancouver, and we both fell in love with the country and its way of life. We loved how respectful, open, calm, and welcoming people felt.

That is the kind of connection we hope to have with our surrogate: simple, sincere, and built on trust. More than anything, we want her to feel comfortable with us, cared for, and truly part of this journey.

Vaccination information

We don't have any specific preferences when it comes to vaccinations.

For us, what's most important is having open conversations and trusting each other throughout the journey. We believe our surrogate knows her own health best and will make decisions together with her medical team, always keeping everyone's well-being at heart

Views on termination

We sincerely hope we never have to face a situation like this.

For us, the most important thing will always be our surrogate's health and well-being. We understand that these are deeply personal decisions, and we believe they should always be made with compassion, respect, and the guidance of the medical team.

Our embryos have been PGT tested, which gives us hope and confidence as we begin this journey. We know that no one can predict everything, but we truly hope that together we'll only have to focus on what really matters: a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

As we say in Spain, the best decisions are made by talking openly and taking care of one another. That's the kind of relationship we hope to build throughout this journey.

Fun facts about me
  • I've visited more than 40 countries, but I still get just as excited planning the next trip.

  • I can spend hours watching documentaries about architecture and history.

  • I'm the one who usually ends up taking photos on every trip so we never forget the memories.

Interests and hobbies

I've always been curious about the world. I love traveling, discovering new places, and learning about different cultures. For me, every trip is about much more than visiting somewhere new—it's about meeting people, trying local food, and coming home with a different perspective.

Back home in Valencia, I enjoy running through the Turia Gardens, spending time friends and family and making the most of the Mediterranean lifestyle. I'm also the one who's always planning our next adventure, whether it's a weekend getaway or a trip to the other side of the world.

One day, I hope to share that sense of curiosity with our future child and show them that the world is full of amazing people, places, and experiences waiting to be discovered.

What friends say
“

Our friends would probably say I'm thoughtful, optimistic, and the one who's always organizing something. I'm a good listener, I love making people feel welcome, and I'm happiest when everyone is together around a table, sharing good food and lots of laughs.

They'd also tell you I'm the planner of the couple... David would definitely agree! 😊

Fun facts about me
  • If there's a horse nearby, you'll probably find me saying hello before I greet anyone else!

  • I love finding cozy cafés wherever we travel.

  • I secretly think I make the best Spanish omelette... although Jesús might debate that! 🇪🇸🥔

Interests and hobbies

As an elementary school teacher, I spend my days surrounded by children's curiosity and energy, and I genuinely love it. They remind me every day that the little moments are often the most important ones.

Outside of work, I enjoy life's simple pleasures: cooking for the people I love, going for a run, chatting with a friend in a café or traveling with Jesús. Some of my favorite memories have been made while exploring new places together.

More than anything, I'm looking forward to sharing those little traditions with our future child—Sunday walks, family meals, and adventures, both big and small.

What friends say
“

Our friends would probably describe me as caring and someone who always makes time for the people I love. They'd also say I have a great sense of humor and that I'm the one who brings balance whenever life gets a little stressful.

I'm happiest when everyone around me feels included and at home.
