About them

We are Jean-Sébastien (30) and Marc (38), a loving and committed couple living in the south of France, surrounded by our close friends and families.

Jean-Sébastien is a medical doctor, working in the field of cancer care. After serving in the military, Marc became a fire safety engineer. He now works at a university hospital, where he looks after fire safety and security, and helps keep communication flowing between the hospital, the police, and the courts.

We met nine years ago, quite by chance, in a bar. What started as an unexpected encounter quickly became something very special, and we have been inseparable ever since. We share many passions: cooking and hosting friends, staying active, traveling, discovering new cultures, and above all, laughing together.

For a long time, we have dreamed of becoming parents and growing the family we have built together. We wish to offer our future children a loving, stable, and supportive environment, and to pass on essential values such as respect, trust, and openness to others.

Our journey has already begun, and thanks to an amazing woman and Dr. Victory’s medical team, we’re excited to have 17 embryos so far. We are now ready to meet a surrogate with whom we can share the next chapter of this beautiful journey.

We truly look forward to getting to know you and to building together a unique and meaningful relationship based on respect, transparency, open communication, and mutual support.

We would be delighted to connect with you and answer any questions you may have. Please, feel free to write to us !! :)

We both have stable jobs and have saved specifically to ensure this journey can happen smoothly and comfortably for everyone involved. Our goal is to provide the best possible conditions throughout the process.

We also own a home that is ready to become a safe and loving home for our future child.

Most importantly, we want you to feel secure and supported every step of the way. We are committed to making sure this experience is safe, well-planned, and comfortable for you, with full transparency and respect.

Embryos
Yes.

In February 2025, thanks to an amazing egg donor and the incredible work of Dr. Victory and their team, we obtained 17 embryos (9 from JS, 8 from Marc). Ten have been biopsed and are all good quality!

What they're looking for
Their hopes and requirements for a surrogate
The relationship we hope to build

We are hoping to work with a surrogate who leads a healthy lifestyle and feels confident and comfortable in her own life.

Open and honest communication is very important to us, and we would love to build a friendly relationship where we can stay in touch, share updates, and support one another throughout the journey.

We value a supportive family and social circle around our surrogate, as we believe a strong and caring environment is essential during this process.

That said, we truly believe that the relationship should be built together, based on each other’s needs and expectations. Feeling at ease and respected on both sides is what matters most to us.

Ideally, we imagine a relationship that feels like a genuine friendship and continues beyond the birth. We plan to be open and transparent with our child about this journey, and we would love for them to know the incredible people who helped bring them into the world.

Vaccination information

Ensuring a healthy pregnancy is very important to us for both the surrogate and the baby. We would prefer that the surrogate is up to date on vaccinations according to Canadian health recommendations (e.g., MMR, varicella if never had it, and possibly flu).

Of course, we understand that this is something to discuss and confirm with the doctors, and we are open to guidance from medical professionals throughout the process.

Views on termination

It is clear to us that if the surrogate’s health is at risk and a medical termination becomes necessary, there is no question or debate—her safety comes first.

Additionally, we are in favor of a medical termination in the case of a severe fetal anomaly that is incompatible with life. We would also consider it in cases where the fetus has a condition compatible with life but would result in a significantly reduced quality of life for the child.

Any such decision would be made in consultation with the medical team overseeing the pregnancy. We are, of course, open to discussing all aspects of this with the surrogate.

Fun facts about me

I’m drawn to intensity… strangely, turbulence in flight fascinates me. That strange dance between fear and thrill makes me feel truly alive ! Meanwhile, Marc is hanging on to my hand and clutching his armrest like his life depends on it, and I can’t stop laughing !

Interests and hobbies

I need a certain balance to feel good: moving as much as slowing down. Sports are part of my daily life (as much as possible) : running, swimming, just like quiet moments: reading, meditating, letting my mind wander, where ideas, projects, and new desires take shape.

What really matters to me is connection. I’m very close to my friends and family. I love seeing them often, cooking for them, and sharing simple but meaningful moments : a good dinner, a spontaneous outing, or a board game.

I’m deeply curious and passionate about culture. Museums, art in all its forms, music… I play drums and saxophone !

And then there’s travel: discovering new places, stepping out of my comfort zone, and opening up to other ways of living. Even planning a trip makes me dream! Marc would probably say I was a travel agent in another life ;)

If I had to sum myself up: someone grounded but dreamy, sociable, able to enjoy calm, and always ready to share…

Let’s hand it over to Alice, one of our closest friends, to answer this question:

"I am very grateful to have trusted friends such as Jean-Sébastien and Marc. Their friendship is loyal, generous and their joy is contagious !

For over ten years, I have been able to count on their sincere and unfailing support. Sharing moments with them is always a great pleasure :)"

Fun facts about me

One of our favorite family stories goes back to when Juliette, our niece, was about five or six. Music was playing in my in-laws’ kitchen while we were cooking, and we started dancing together. Staying true to my clown role, I decided to dance a little too enthusiastically and jokingly shake my hips. I accidentally bumped into Juliette as I stepped back. In a moment that caught everyone by surprise, one of her already-loose baby teeth fell out! There was a brief pause where no one quite knew whether to laugh or worry… and then we all burst out laughing, Juliette included, happily copying our reactions. To this day, that memory still comes up whenever we gather at my in-laws’ house, and it never fails to make everyone smile.

Interests and hobbies

Outside of work, staying active is one of the ways I keep both my body and mind in balance. Two or three times a week, you’ll usually find me lacing up my running shoes and heading out to clear my head, sometimes along the Garonne River that flows through our city, sometimes up in the hills when I feel like changing the scenery. I truly love these moments of physical effort that bring calm, perspective, and a sense of well-being.

Whenever his schedule allows, Jean-Sébastien joins me, and those shared runs are always special moments for us. And if the weather isn’t cooperating, no worries : I simply roll out my yoga mat at home, grab my dumbbells, and turn the living room into a mini gym!

I’m also a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoy taking my Kawasaki out for a ride, whether for daily transportation or for the simple joy of riding on two wheels instead of four. It’s my little dose of freedom and fun.

When we’re not traveling, visiting family or enjoying a beautiful Airbnb with friends, I reconnect with my very first profession. Each year, I dedicate a few days to supporting local police units through operational reserve missions (like US national guard). I put my uniform back on to relieve colleagues who serve full-time. As an officer, I now lead teams of non-commissioned officers during these missions. It’s a responsibility I take very seriously and one that reflects my values of commitment, teamwork, and service.

With all these activities, we don’t always spend long stretches relaxing at home, but that rhythm truly reflects who we are. We’re a proactive, curious couple who love being on the move, who never get bored by routine, and who are always excited by new experiences and discoveries.

What friends say
“

If you asked our friends to describe me, they would probably say that I’m someone who loves to laugh and make others laugh. I know how to be serious when needed, but never too much—I believe life is meant to be enjoyed.

Jean-Sébastien and I truly love hosting: cooking for the people we care about, setting up a nice apéritif, and creating moments where everyone feels welcome and relaxed. We are often the ones organizing little getaways, whether it’s a weekend in the mountains or a refreshing escape by the sea.
