About them

Our names are Ashton and Tom. We are 32 and 34 years old, and have two beautiful children, a spunky 3 year old girl Kollins and the sweetest 1 year old boy Logan. Both kids were conceived via IVF. Due to complications with both pregnancies, Ashton is no longer medically cleared to carry. We're looking for a surrogate to help us welcome a third beautiful baby into our lives.

Relationship status

Married

We met in 2016 when both of us were working in Chicago. It only took one year from us meeting to knowing we wanted to spend our lives together, and so we got engaged in Central Park in NYC in fall of 2017. In spring of 2019 we got married in Charleston SC. Since then we've gone from living in Chicago to Tennessee, and back to Chicago this past year.

Kids today

We have two kids. Kollins is our oldest. She is a 3.5 year old diva with quite the bubbly personality. If you walked in our house you'd know where she was immediately, simply by following the echoing songs from Frozen that she is constantly belting out. Logan is our youngest. He just turned 1 in May, and is on the cusp of walking. He is the sweetest little boy, and definitely a mamas boy.

Financial preparedness

We have been through IVF for our first two children so we understand very well the process and financial commitment that comes with it. We also did not think that we would be able to have our second via IVF and had gone through the initial first few steps of surrogacy at that point, so we are aware and ready for the costs and process of this entire journey.

Our embryos are stored in Tennessee as that is where we lived during the time we did IVF and that is where both of our children were born. We have 5 day 5 blasts ready to go, all of which have been PGT tested.

We don't have many requirements outside of whatever the clinic requires.

The relationship we hope to build

Open to various situations, but definitely would like to be as involved in the process as you'll allow us to be. Definitely not looking to go weeks at at time without checking in.

Vaccination information

Whatever your preference, so long as our clinic is comfortable with it.

Views on termination

Our view is that we prefer not to terminate unless the mother's life is in danger. Your safety is always our top concern throughout the process.

I love to cook, and own a ridiculous amount of random specialty cooking tools to make super unique dishes. They don't always come out so great though..

Interests and hobbies

I've always been into sports. Big football and hockey fan. Also love music. Have played the guitar since I was 10 and picked up the piano a number of years ago as well.

Fun facts about me

I basically never do it, and certainly not in front of people, but I'm a pretty good singer. Even my husband has only heard me sing maybe 3 or 4 times.

Interests and hobbies

I love to read and listen to audiobooks. There is always a book going when I'm driving in my car, and its almost always some sort of crime thriller. Cooking is my calming activity, and you can find me in the kitchen making sourdough or creating some new dish from a collection of other dishes nearly daily.
