Hi, we’re Marcus and Mike. We met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, and from our very first conversation something felt easy and natural. What started as a simple introduction quickly grew into a relationship built on laughter, shared values, and a strong sense of partnership.

Today, we live in Kitchener, Ontario with our two dogs, Dexter and Archie. We have created a home that feels steady, warm, and full of intention. We genuinely enjoy doing life together, whether that is traveling, spending time with family, or simply relaxing at home.

Becoming parents has always been a shared dream for us. We feel grounded in who we are as individuals and deeply secure in our relationship, and we are ready to grow our family with love, gratitude, and respect for the incredible woman who would help us on this journey.

In our day to day life, we naturally divide responsibilities. Mike is the cleaner and keeps everything organized and running smoothly, while Marcus is the chef and loves bringing everyone together over a meal. It is a small reflection of how we support one another.

More than anything, we hope to connect with someone who feels comfortable and confident in her decision to be on this journey. We imagine building a relationship rooted in kindness, openness, and mutual respect.

We would love to work with someone who values communication and feels comfortable sharing her thoughts and needs along the way. This experience is meaningful for everyone involved, and we hope it would feel collaborative and supportive rather than transactional.

Fun facts about me

I have always been fascinated by the history of the Titanic. I know it is a little unexpected, but it has truly captivated me for years. I recently traveled to Ireland to visit the Titanic Museum and stand where the ship was built, which felt surreal. I even have a very realistic tattoo of the ship on my forearm, which usually becomes a great conversation starter.

Growing up, I swam competitively at the provincial level in Ontario, and I also performed in touring musical theatre. I have always loved music and being on stage. It brings such a fun energy and sense of connection.

At home, things are a little more cozy. We have two dogs, Dexter and Archie, and my favorite place to be is on the couch with both of them curled up beside me. I am just as happy in those simple moments as I am traveling across the world to chase a lifelong interest.

Interests and hobbies

I am an interior designer and business owner who truly loves creating thoughtful and beautiful spaces. Creativity is a big part of my everyday life. Outside of work, I enjoy drawing and exploring different forms of art whenever I can.

I also love traveling, trying new restaurants, staying active, and spending quality time with the people closest to me. I value stability and hard work, but I also believe life should be fun. I will never say no to building a Hogwarts Lego set while rewatching the movies. It is one of my favorite kinds of evenings.

I’m a big video game fan. It’s one of my favourite ways to unwind and I fully embrace it. I’ve also lived in New Zealand and Bosnia, which really shaped how I see the world and gave me a love for travel and new experiences. At home in Kitchener, I’m a proud dog dad to Dexter and Archie, who definitely keep life interesting. I’m usually the one organizing trips or hosting dinners, and I love bringing people together. I enjoy being outdoors, but I’m just as happy with a cozy night in, good food, and the people (and pups) I care about most. I’m loyal to my circle, a little competitive when it comes to board games, and I genuinely value creating a warm, welcoming home.

Interests and hobbies

I work in Marketing and PR for a large Canadian Insurance company. Outside of that I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether that’s long walks around our neighbourhood in Kitchener with our two dogs, Dexter and Archie, weekend hikes, or simply being outside with family and friends.

Travel is something Marcus and I really value; we love exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and making memories together. At home, I enjoy cooking, hosting dinners, and creating a comfortable, welcoming space for the people we care about. I also genuinely enjoy what I do in corporate communications. I love storytelling and connecting with people, but outside of work, I’m happiest when life feels simple, active, and centred around the people (and pups!) we love most.
