We are Justin and Julia, based in Seattle (although Julia hails from Vancouver BC) with our two dogs, one golden, and one lab mix. We have chosen surrogacy as our path to parenthood, eagerly preparing our hearts and home to welcome a child and the amazing woman who will help us on this journey.

We've been together almost ten years and married for over six of them.
We have successful careers as lawyers and are financially prepared and willing to pay for any anticipated and unexpected expenses that may occur during the journey.
We have 6 embryos, which we made with Grace Fertility Centre. We froze embryos in two cycles, May 2023 and January 2024. Julia was 33 in May 2023 and 34 in May 2024. Justin was 32 for both cycles.
These are the eligibility criteria from our fertility clinic, Grace Fertility Centre:
Carriers must be of legal age, between the ages of 21 and 49 years of age (before age of natural menopause). Ideally, the carrier will be under 45 years of age, however in some cases the use of a carrier older than 45 years may be considered, but all parties involved must be informed about the potential risks of pregnancy with advanced maternal age.
The Carrier should have had at least one, term, uncomplicated pregnancy before being considered as a GC.
The carrier should not have had more than a total of four previous deliveries or three deliveries via caesarean section.
Ideally, the Gestational Carrier should have a BMI below 35. However, candidates with a BMI under 40 may be considered on a case-by-case basis, pending review of their metabolic screening results.
Carriers must have a stable family environment with adequate support to help her cope with the added stress of pregnancy.
We are hoping to connect with someone who is communicative and open to being part of our family.
We would prefer someone who trusts medical science and is up to date with vaccinations as recommended by Canada.
The surrogate's life and health come first and we would never push a surrogate to keep a pregnancy if her life was at risk. We would want to discuss termination in the event the child would be born with a lifelong condition, disorder, or illness that would severely diminish the child's quality of life
