About them

We’ve been together for 13 years, which somehow feels like both a lifetime ago and just yesterday. We met through mutual friends shortly after Andrea moved to the city. What started as a friendship naturally grew into something more, and we’ve been side by side ever since.

We like to joke that we’re the perfect blend of city and country. Paul is very much the city guy, while Andrea proudly embraces her country roots. That balance has always worked well for us and shapes how we live our lives together.

We love to travel, especially to the Caribbean and Florida, and if there’s a live band playing, chances are you’ll find us there enjoying the music. We’re also big fans of our Toronto teams, especially the Maple Leafs, whether that means catching a game live or cheering them on from home.

Food is a big part of our life together. You can usually smell something delicious coming from our kitchen or off the BBQ. Paul loves experimenting with new recipes and has become quite the chef over the years, much to Andrea’s delight!

When we’re not traveling or cooking, we enjoy camping and spending time outdoors, playing games like ring toss or cornhole. Paul insists he doesn’t practice, but somehow he seems to win more often than not.

Most of all, we value time together. wWhether it’s big adventures or quiet moments at home, and we’re excited to share that same sense of warmth, connection, and gratitude with the person who helps us grow our family.

Fun facts about me

ABOUT ME..

I grew up in a small, close-knit family where most of our time was spent outdoors, boating, snowmobiling, camping, and making the most of every season. Because of that, being outside is still where I feel happiest, especially at the beach, which is truly my happy place. Anytime Paul says, “I’ve booked us a trip down south,” I’m instantly as excited as a kid on Christmas morning.

One of my most cherished traditions is attending Broadway shows with my mom. We’ve seen over 30 together, and those experiences mean so much to me. When I’m not in a theatre seat, you can usually find me shopping (because who doesn’t love a good browse?), spending time with family and friends, or heading out on a camping trip.

I love hosting, having family and friends over to share a meal fresh off the BBQ, listening to our favourite music. Our playlists usually include a mix of ’70s and ’80s rock with some newer country sprinkled in. Give me a sunny patio, good company, and a live band, and I’m completely in my element.

I also enjoy playing ring toss and cornhole, or tossing a football around in the lake or ocean. When it’s time to unwind, my guilty pleasure is reality TV- from Real Housewives drama to every home renovation show imaginable. I also love watching hockey with Paul, whether we’re cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs at the arena or cozied up on the couch at home.

Professionally, I’m a claims specialist helping injured workers return to work safely. I’ve spent 16 years in the human resources field and now focus more on health and safety, where I genuinely enjoy supporting people and making a meaningful difference.

PAUL THROUGH MY EYES...

Paul is incredibly family-oriented and comes from a big, close-knit Greek family. Growing up, he was deeply involved in his nieces’ and nephews’ lives and quickly earned the title of the “cool uncle”, a role he still proudly holds today. They look up to him, seek him out for advice, and trust him, which says so much about the kind of person he is.

I know without a doubt that Paul will be an amazing dad. He has a natural way of teaching life lessons through patience, kindness, and leading by example. He is calm, steady, compassionate, and understanding. the kind of person who brings a sense of safety and reassurance to everyone around him. He’s a pillar of strength, incredibly hardworking, and always pushing himself to grow and do better.

Paul also has a playful side that keeps life fun. You can always tell when the Maple Leafs are winning because you’ll hear him cheering from somewhere in the house. And just when I least expect it, he’s around the corner ready to jump out and scare me. his favourite way to keep me laughing.

More than anything, Paul is loving, dependable, and deeply loyal. Watching him with family makes me even more excited to see him step into the role of father, where I know his heart, humour, and steadiness will shine.

Fun facts about me

ABOUT ME..

I’m someone who truly knows how to enjoy life, whether that means cheering on my favourite teams or firing up the grill for family and friends. During the winter months, you’ll usually find me rotating between Hockey Night in Canada, football Sundays, and whatever other game happens to be on. I love catching games live at the arena just as much as watching from home, usually while trying out a new recipe or planning the next big BBQ.

When I’m outside, I enjoy tossing a football around, playing a round of cornhole or ring toss, and occasionally letting other people win. I like staying active and keeping things light and fun.

When I’m not in sports mode, I’m usually tackling handyman projects around my mom’s house, heading out to ribfests, or catching a live band on a sunny patio. For me, a perfect weekend includes good food, good music, and great company.

Professionally, I’ve spent 27 years in the construction industry, all with the same employer. I take a lot of pride in the work I do, here’s something incredibly rewarding about driving on roads I’ve helped build and knowing the dedication, effort, and teamwork that went into them. Hard work, reliability, and showing up for the people who count are values I carry both in my career and in my personal life.

ANDREA THROUGH MY EYES...

Andrea is a small-town girl with a big heart, and that’s one of the many things I adore about her. She comes from a close-knit family and truly embodies the values of love, loyalty, and togetherness. Family means everything to her, and nowhere is that more obvious than in her relationship with her niece, her little sidekick, who receives endless love, attention, and affection.

Andrea supports me in every way possible and has always had my back through thick and thin. Her unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in us mean more than I can put into words.

I have no doubt that she will be an incredible mother. She will nurture our children with the same warmth, care, and unconditional love she grew up with, creating a home where they always feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.

What I love most about Andrea is her genuine kindness and her ability to find joy in the little things in life. She has a way of making our house feel like a true home, one you genuinely look forward to coming back to.

And if her favourite rock song comes on, don’t be surprised to see her grab an imaginary guitar and dance around the room. That joy and light she brings is exactly what makes life with her so special.
