"If you asked any of her friends how they'd describe Elyse, the answer would be unanimous: warm, genuine, and one of the most nurturing people you'll ever meet. She brings that same loving energy to everything she does, from her friendships and her animals, to the patients and families she cares for in her veterinary practice. She has a quick wit that keeps us all laughing, and a thoughtfulness that makes everyone around her feel truly seen, whether she's showing up during hard times, celebrating our successes, or opening her home so we can gather by the lake.

What moves me most personally is her grace. Despite navigating her own deeply personal fertility journey, she has never stopped showing up for the families growing around her, supporting us through our pregnancies, remembering our kids' birthdays, and connecting with them in that special way she has. She and Alan have so much love to give, and a child would be indescribably lucky to be raised by them both. We don't say this lightly: the world needs more people like her in it, and we cannot wait to watch her become the mother we know she's meant to be."
